About Watt

Hi there. My name is Michael Watt - thus the name of my company, 'Watt Media'. I was born in Winnipeg, Canada, attended highschool in Vancouver and graduated from the University of Concordia in Montreal. I`m proud to be a Canadian and love to watch Ice Hockey.

I came to Tokyo with the intent to travel and see a bit of the world and ... well, I`ve been here 15 years now with no immediate plans to return to the Great White North.

I work as a freelance web designer/developer half of the day and a pharmaceutics English teacher the other half. It makes for a an extremely busy life but I hope to make internet related work my full time job in the near future.

I started scripting HTML 7 years ago by hand and since then I`ve added XHMTL, CSS, Javascript, Flash and Expression Engine to my skill set. Besides designing and developing websites I also work in logo design, email newsletter design, print work and 3D modelling.

Outside of work, I love to watch movies and TV series such as 'Heroes' and my passion is playing World of Warcaft.
